The draw for the first round of the CIS Insurance Cup took place earlier today and City have been drawn at home to 1st division outfit Stirling Albion, who gained promotion to the 1st division via the play-offs last season.

While Stirling are in a higher division, City will fancy their chances against any side at Glebe Park.

The tie will be played on Tuesday 7th August at 7.45pm subject to confirmation with Stirling Albion. Season tickets will be valid for the game.

In the event of a draw after normal time, extra time of 30 minutes (i.e.
15 minutes each way) will take place and thereafter, if necessary, kicks
from the Penalty Mark will be taken in accordance with the Rules laid
down by The International Football Association Board.
