City Take On Pars Tonight - By Steven Mew

City host Scottish Cup finalists Dunfermline tonight as the pre-season preparations begin to pick up pace. The game kicks off at 7:45pm and admission prices are £8 for adults and £4 for concessions. Season tickets will also be on sale at the match.

City manager Michael O'Neill will watch trialists Neil Janczyk and Calum Smith again after the pair turned out in the 2-0 win over Montrose at the weekend.

Former Hearts midfielder Janczyk has spent the last two years at St Johnstone but finished last season on loan to Stranraer before being released.

Smith (19) joined Dunfermline in 2005 but only made 2 substitute appearances before being released.

O'Neill is also looking at Ross Gardiner, the freed Dundee United defender.

Michael said: "No decisions have been made, I have to decide if they are what we want- there are other players being considered.

"So far I am pleased with the build up. We will make changes again tomorrow night. I am aiming for everyone to have three games behind them.

"They are all building up the minutes played- it is a case of juggling. They have the makings of a good side which has a balance of experience and youth."
