The club are pleased to confirm the signing of striker Olly Hamilton on a season-long loan from Premiership side St Johnstone.

The highly rated 17 year-old featured as a trialist for City in the pre-season friendly against Dundee at the weekend and was top scorer for Saints under 18 side last season.

His performances resulted in Manager Tommy Wright giving him an opportunity in the first team towards the end of the season where he made a substitute appearance against Hamilton Academical.

Manager Barry Smith said, "Olly is a young boy who has done well in the Academy at St Johnstone and one we think can take the step up to our division. He is quick and has an eye for goal."
