Squad Update - By Steven Mew

The club can confirm the arrival of 3 new signings along with the departure of on-loan striker Callum Hendry who has been recalled by parent club St Johnstone.

Callum made 12 appearances for the club, scoring one goal which came in a local derby against Forfar at Station Park. Everyone at the club would like to thank Callum for his efforts in a City shirt and wish him well for the future.

Arriving at Glebe Park is defender Lewis Toshney who has signed on loan from Dundee United until the end of the season. Lewis came through the youth system at Celtic and had loan spells at Kilmarnock and Dundee during his time at Parkhead. Spells at Ross County, Cowdenbeath and Raith Rovers followed before arriving at Tannadice in 2016.

Manager Barry Smith commented, "Lewis is an experienced player who has played at a higher level and was wanted by other clubs. He is keen to play and motivated to do well."

Smith has also recruited East Fife midfielder Craig Thomson and former Falkirk, Stenhousemuir and Albion Rovers goalkeeper Graham Bowman.

Barry said, "Craig is quick, direct, dynamic and capable of playing in a few different positions. Only the good form of his team-mates have kept him out of the action at New Bayview".

Speaking on Bowman, Barry said, "Graham is an established goalkeeper I've had my eye on for some time, and will definitely bring competition for places".
