Stuart Callaghan started his senior career at Hearts and also enjoyed loan spells at now defunct Clydebank. It was at Hamilton Accies he really made his name with some excellent performances and his good form continued at Alloa.

It was at Alloa he was spotted by Ian Campbell who made Callaghan his first signing as Brechin manager in January 2005.

'Call' is capable of producing tremendous moments of individual skill when he is on his game. Callaghan was transfer listed by manager Michael O'Neill in the summer of 2006 but he was taken off just before the start of the season. This was a good decision by O'Neill as Callaghan went on to have an outstanding season, picking up the Player of the Year award for 06/07.

Signed a one year contract in the Summer of 2007 and will be looking to replicate the kind of form he showed last season.
