Brechin City's Michael O'Neill has won the Irn-Bru Second Division Manager of the Month award for December.

O'Neill guided City to three wins and 2 draws, the highlight coming with a 5-1 success over Ayr United.

City have continued their fine run of form under O'Neill in January with a 4-0 win at Alloa and a draw with Berwick Rangers, as well as a draw against 1st division leaders Hamilton in the Scottish Cup.

The Ulsterman signed a new two-year contract extension to remain at Glebe Park in October.
