Ryan Strachan became one of a short list of local players to join the professional ranks when he agreed to register for Brechin City FC on a delayed transfer basis from Brechin Victoria Junior Football Club for whom he will continue to play his Saturday football.
Ryan was a member of last season's youth squad before the squad was disbanded at the end of the season.
Ryan's registration and that of Lewis Davidson earlier in the season will help the Club to comply with Tennent's Scottish Cup regulations whereby a minimum of 2 outfield Under 21 players must be included in the team list.
