A tenner to see Ipswich Town

Brechin City FC have reminded season ticket holders that season tickets are not valid for the visit of Jim Magilton's Ipswich Town side on Thursday evening.
This of one of those games, where everyone must pay at the gate. Season tickets are not valid on the night, much in the same way they wouldn't be for a testimonial game. The club hope their season ticket holders understand that this is a one off. The admission prices on the night will remain at £10 and £5, which represents excellent value for money when you consider the quality of the opposition we are facing.
Chairman David Birse said: "I would urge as many local football fans, wether they are Brechin City supporters or not, to get along to Glebe Park on Thursday evening for what should be a memorable occasion. There aren't many opportunties for us in Tayside to see sides like Ipswich Town and we are very grateful to Jim Magilton and his side for agreeing to provide the opposition in our centenary game."
Jim Magilton's side are presently sitting in eighth position in the Coca Cola Championship and at the time of writing were preparing for a local derby with Colchester United on Friday evening. Their previous result was a win over Roy Keane's Sunderland side.
The club will also be selling a Centenary Programme on the night priced £2.
