It's top against bottom in the Breedon Highland League tomorrow afternoon as City welcome Rothes to the Carnegie Fuels Stadium at Glebe Park (2pm kick off).
Ray McKinnon's side will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat against Strathspey Thistle and will come up against a Rothes side that are yet to win a league game this season.
Despite the gap between the sides in terms of position, City will need to ensure that complacency doesn't creep in to maintain their position at the top of the league heading into Christmas.
TEAM NEWS
City will continue to be without the services of Fraser Macleod, Mitchell Findlay and Mitch Taylor whilst Ethan Crombie will also be unavailable. On a positive note, defender Brad McKay has continued to train strongly and will be in contention for his first start since August.
MANAGERS COMMENTS
Speaking on the defeat against Strathspey Thistle last week, Manager Ray McKinnon commented,
"We were obviously bitterly disappointed with the result but it was another one of those games where the wind made things difficult for both teams and it turned into a scrap. We didn't show enough quality in the final third and we need to improve on that. It's a young team and we are going to be inconsistent but we need to be doing far better. Due to injuries we haven't had a bank of players that we can rely on week in week out.
"You just have to look at the other results on Saturday to see how unpredictable this league can be and we just need to be as consistent as we can until the end of the season."
Looking ahead to tomorrow's fixture against Rothes, Ray added,
"We need to go out there and make sure there is no complacency tomorrow whatsoever and win the game."

City maintained their 100% start to the season with a dominant performance away at Rothes, running out 8–1 winners. The visitors controlled the match from the opening stages and after a period of early pressure took the lead through Grady McGrath’s penalty on 24 minutes. City swiftly added a second via an own goal before Rothes briefly pulled one back. Before half time City extended their advantage further with goals from Mitch Taylor and Mitchell Findlay, going in at the break comfortably ahead.
In the second half Brechin continued to dominate. Brad McKay headed in from a corner and Cillian Sheridan added another before McGrath netted his second and completed his hat-trick with a superb free kick. City created numerous chances throughout and could easily have scored more.
