City head into tomorrow's fixture against Keith with the incentive of going top of the Breedon Highland League with a victory at the Carnegie Fuels Stadium at Glebe Park.
Ray McKinnon's men will certainly not be taking anything for granted, especially given the Maroon's recorded a draw in a midweek fixture last season which put a dent in City's title hopes.
City will be keen to continue their run of 5 straight wins in all competitions but will come up against a Keith side that head south on a good run of form themselves, having won 3 of their last 4 league matches.
TEAM NEWS
City will continue to be without Brad McKay, Dugald Farquhar and Dayle Robertson whilst Adam Hutchinson also misses out after dislocating his shoulder on Saturday. Dundee loanee Ethan Crombie will also be unavailable.
MANAGERS COMMENTS
Reflecting on the victory over Turriff United at the weekend, Manager Ray McKinnon commented, "Turriff made it difficult for us and put a lot of bodies behind the ball and didn't leave a lot of space for us to play. It was tough to break them down but we had a good chat at half time on how to do that. The early goal in the second half helped us - it was an excellent move and Grady controlled the finish well.
"We've been struggling with corners into the box of late so that's something we've been working on in training, with Grady taking them on the right and Marley on the left. They put in some great deliveries and it put Turriff under pressure and we got two goals from it. We were just disappointed to lose the goal at the end as it was avoidable.
"I felt more the most part we controlled the game - I thought young Ethan Crombie in the middle of the park was outstanding but he wasn't the only one that impressed. The bench was looking a lot stronger and Brad McKay did a bit of work pre-match so things are moving in the right direction. It was just disappointing to lose Adam Hutchinson early on with the shoulder dislocation but they managed to pop it back into place so we will just have to monitor him."
