The Club have strengthened their midfield options with the loan signing of highly rated youngster Harry Craig from near neighbours Montrose FC in a deal that will run until January.

The 18-year-old central midfielder has already made 24 first-team appearances for Montrose since breaking through in the 2023/24 season. He made his professional debut in December 2023 at just 16 years old, when he came off the bench against Queen of the South.

To further his development, Craig spent part of last season on loan at Montrose Roselea, gaining valuable experience in the Midlands League before returning to Links Park where he has featured 7 times so far this campaign.

Manager Ray McKinnon commented, "Harry is a young lad but has good experience already with Montrose. We've been looking to strengthen the midfield area and he's a bit different from what we've got at the moment.

"Paul (Watson) knows him well from his time at Montrose and speaks very highly of him. We're delighted to have him on board and we're sure he'll do well for us."

Craig will go straight into contention for tomorrow's Breedon Highland League fixture against Forres Mechanics at the Carnegie Fuels Stadium at Glebe Park.
