Steven Mew
City will look to build on their opening day win over Lossiemouth as they travel north tomorrow evening to take on Keith at Kynoch Park.
TEAM NEWS
City will hope to welcome back Ben Armour to the matchday squad after missing the entirety of the Premier Sports Cup whilst Bayley Klimionek came through his 15 minute substitute appearance on Saturday unscathed. Dayle Robertson, Brad McKay and Ben Hutchinson continue to miss out.
MANAGERS COMMENTS
Reflecting on the 4-0 win over Lossiemouth, Manager Ray McKinnon commented, "It was a good result and good performance in the end and I was delighted with the win and clean sheet.
"I said to the players at half time that we needed to raise the tempo of the game and I think we got caught at playing at their tempo a little bit. They sat in and we had a lot of possession of the ball but we weren't as positive as I'd have liked us to be. Second half I thought we raised the standards, played some lovely football and scored some nice goals.
"We wanted to stretch Lossiemouth towards the end and I thought Craig Tosh and Mitchell Findlay did well when they came on and gave us a spark. On another day we might have scored another couple of goals but we're happy with the result in the end."
Grady McGrath netted a hat-trick just 24 hours after returning to the Club on loan with Ray adding, "I'm delighted for Grady because he hasn't played a lot of football over the last while and when you come back to a Club where you've done well before, you hope to replicate that and that is exactly what he has done. He got off to a brilliant start by scoring a hat-trick so hopefully that settles him in and he goes from strength to strength.
"With having Dayle Robertson and Ben Armour injured we've had to rely on Cillian Sheridan playing 90 minutes of the 4 Premier Sports Cup games and we didn't have much cover up the top end of the park. Bringing Grady back who is proven in this league was a good bit of business for the Club."
