Brechin City is thrilled to announce the return of striker Grady McGrath on a season-long loan from League 1 side Cove Rangers, subject to SFA registration.
Grady of course needs little introduction to City supporters, having spent a prolific two-season spell with the Club prior to his move to Cove at the start of last season.
Initially signing from East Craigie in the summer of 2022, Grady enjoyed a stunning debut season at the Glebe as he bagged 35 goals in all competitions, helping City clinch the Highland League Championship.
His performances also saw him pick up both the Highland League Player of the Year along with Young Player of the Year.
He continued to find the net with regularity in the 2023/24 season, scoring 34 times as City missed out on the title on the final day.
Ironically, Grady's most recent appearance for Cove Rangers came against City on Tuesday night as he came on as a second half substitute. Subject to SFA registration, he is likely to be amongst the matchday squad against Lossiemouth tomorrow.
Manager Ray McKinnon was delighted to bolster his attacking options. He added, "It's great news having Grady joining us on loan. He was very successful in his previous spell here and scored a lot of goals so it's great to have him back."
Grady is available to sponsor, with home kit sponsorship costing £200, whilst boot sponsorship is priced at £100. To register your interest, complete the player sponsorship form on the club website - PLAYER SPONSORSHIP
