Brechin City FC is delighted to confirm the permanent signing of Mitch Taylor following his departure from near-neighbours Forfar Athletic on a one year deal, with the option of a further year.

Mitch is no stranger to City supporters having greatly impressed on loan at the tail end of last season. A fine showing on his debut against Turriff United set the tone as he picked up the match of the match award and he went on to net 5 times in just 8 appearances.

An attack-minded player with plenty of pace to burn, Mitch can play anywhere down the left hand side and also showed his quality from set pieces having scored two free kicks in the space of 4 days against Forres Mechanics and Strathspey Thistle in March.

Manager Ray McKinnon was understandably pleased to get one of his top pre-season targets over the line. He added, "It's great to have Mitch on board at Brechin again. He was great for the team over the last couple of months of the season, scoring goals and bringing real energy to the team."
