LAST TIME OUT

PREVIOUS MEETING
Cowdenbeath 3-2 Brechin City - 17th July 2021
The sides last met in a League Cup group stage fixture at Central Park just over three years ago in sweltering conditions. Quickfire first half goals from former Kris Renton and Liam Buchanan had the home side in a comfortable lead at half time, however City fought back with goals from Garry Wood and Kieran Inglis putting them level. However the Blue Brazil snatched the winner just one minute from time with former City man Kris Renton getting his second.
