City will be looking to bounce back from their first league defeat of the season last weekend as we welcome fellow Highland League side Huntly in a Scottish Cup 2nd round clash tomorrow afternoon.
The last round saw City net a stoppage time winner to see off East of Scotland side Newtongrange Star at the Carnegie Fuels Stadium at Glebe Park, whilst Huntly progressed thanks to a penalty shootout win over Wick Academy following a 2-2 draw after extra time.
TEAM NEWS
City will welcome back Ewan Loudon and Craig Tosh back into the squad but there are doubts over Scott Logan and Anthony McDonald.
MANAGERS COMMENTS
Reflecting on the defeat at Forres last weekend, Manager Patrick Cregg commented,
"I thought we started the game really well but second half we probably didn't create nearly enough. We had a few moments but from their perspective they had three attempts on goal and scored all three so from an efficiency point of view, fair play to them.
"No excuses - we lost on the day and we take it on the chin and move on and credit to Forres. I've looked the game back and we didn't deserve to lose the game, but we probably didn't do enough to merit winning it either.
"We're really happy to have Dayle Robertson back now and we'll be at nearly full strength now which we haven't been for the last 3 or 4 weeks. This happens over the course of the season but we're getting bodies back now and that bodes well for us."
Looking ahead the Scottish Cup tie against Huntly tomorrow afternoon, Patrick said,
"The aim is to start another unbeaten run and our mentality is to win every game irrespective of the opposition. It's important for us to progress in the cup and it's a tie we're really excited for."
