Brechin City's annual Sportsman's Dinner will take place at the City Hall, Brechin on Friday 15th December.

The Club are delighted to have landed two of Scotland's best after-dinner speakers for the event:

𝙅𝙊𝙃𝙉 𝙂𝘼𝙃𝘼𝙂𝘼𝙉 - John’s tales of woe about life in and out of football have whipped up a comical storm at every conceivable venue including the Scottish Sports’ Writers and Scottish Professional Footballers Association Player of the Year Awards where he received standing ovations on both occasions. An audience of 1000 diners at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, December 2006, saw John win his 4th MBN Award, having previously triumphed in Glasgow, Manchester and Leeds.

𝙇𝙄𝙉𝘿𝙎𝘼𝙔 𝙒𝙊𝙊𝘿 - A former Glasgow Sherriff, Lindsay Wood has acquired a reputation as a humorous after-dinner speaker with a wealth of fascinating legal anecdotes. He draws on an extensive legal background where he began his career as a Solicitor in Arbroath - and is renowned for his ready-wit and entertaining stories about his experiences.
