After featuring as a trialist in our opening two league matches, we are pleased to unveil highly-rated striker Liam Duell as our latest signing from Kirriemuir Thistle.

The 19 year-old, who has been on the radar of Manager Andy Kirk for some time, has agreed a 3-year contract which bolsters City's attacking options.

Previously on the books of Dundee at youth level, the striker has impressed for Kirriemuir Thistle since leaving Dens Park.

'Dueller' came on as a substitute during our opening day fixture against Formartine United and made an immediate impact by winning the penalty for the only goal of the game.

The striker followed that up with another impressive showing against Huntly last weekend, netting the opening goal in a 2-2 draw.

Manager Andy Kirk said, "Liam has impressed over the past 2 games playing as a trialist and he is a player that we have been watching over the last season.

"Liam has a fantastic work ethic and attitude and will add more pace and strength to the front line, giving us more attacking options as a striker or in the wide areas."
