BRECHIN CITY FC WELCOME SCOTTISH DEER CENTRE AND WILDLIFE PARK AS NEW SHIRT SPONSOR
Highland League champions, Brechin City FC can reveal our new main shirt sponsor as the Scottish Deer Centre and Wildlife Park.
The newly branded Macron team shirts will make their debut today when Brechin take on Arbroath in a friendly clash at Glebe Park. The club has struck a three-year deal with the Scottish Deer Centre and Wildlife Park in a move described as ‘family friendly’ by Brechin City Chairman Kevin Mackie who said, “The support the club has received from our community of families and young supporters during the last season has played a huge part in driving success for the club. I’m delighted to welcome the Scottish Deer Centre and Wildlife Park into the Brechin family and I’m sure we will have lots of fun ahead partnering with them”.
Entrepreneur David Hamilton, co-owner of the Scottish Deer Centre and Wildlife Park commented “Sponsoring Brechin City FC is an exciting partnership for us. We’ve been impressed by the clubs family and community spirit and how they’ve made supporting the club a really positive and healthy experience for all. It’s a great fit with our ethos at the park and we’re delighted to have secured the deal and have our brand travelling the Highland League alongside such a driven and inspirational club as Brechin”.
Former gaming company boss David Hamilton and Dundee businessman Gavin Findlay bought the Scottish Deer Centre in a multi-million-pound deal after it fell into administration in 2021 following the Covid pandemic. Last year, in an effort to help families with the cost of living, the owners took the decision to open the park to the public on a free entry ‘pay as you please’ basis. The decision seen visitors flock back to the park and the new owners are developing a multitude of new offerings mixing in wildlife and other attractions including an RAF Buccaneer jet and them park rides.
