Koutsimouka Checks In

Manager Andy Kirk has bolstered his defensive options with the addition of 21 year-old Frenchman Aubrel Koutsimouka on a deal until the end of the season.
After starting out with US Quevilly-Rouen, Aubrel was snapped by Brentford at 19 years old after impressing on trial. He represented their B team for 2 seasons before returning back to France with Stade Brestois B.
The defender has trained with the club over the last week and will be available for Saturday's fixture against Strathspey Thistle at Glebe Park.
Manager Andy Kirk commented, "He came up to the club last Monday and he's a player that has been recommended to us. He's been at Brentford B team which is a good calibre. He's 6 foot 1, very athletic and can play anywhere on the left side of defence. He's played for Brest in France as well so he's had a decent level of coaching.
"He trained with us twice last week and looked comfortable and technically good. We're hoping he can add something to the squad and compliment what we already have and give us a little more depth.
"We're looking forward to getting him on the pitch and seeing what he can do for us. He will hopefully make a big impact between now and the end of the season. It will maybe take him a wee bit of time to settle in and adjust to the league and the way we play."
Bienvenue Aubrel!
