The Club is pleased to confirm the signing of young striker Ryan McInnes on a deal until the end of the season, subject to SFA approval.
The 17-year old has featured as a substitute in our last two matches against Lossiemouth and Strathspey Thistle.
Ryan represented Dundee for 4 years at youth level where his goalscoring prowess attracted the attention of City neighbours Dundee United. He went on to spend 2 seasons at Tannadice, including a couple of appearances for the Under-18 side at just 15 years of age.
He was part of the Dundee United youth squad that took part in the Super Cup in Northern Ireland in 2019, with the opening match against Leeds United being screened live on the BBC.
Manager Andy Kirk commented, "Ryan is is a young player with good potential and he's got good strength and pace. He came through the academy at Dundee United so he has a decent background and he fits the mould of the type of players we are trying to bring to the club.
"We brought him in to training for a few weeks and he's done well. He's had a taste of what we're about and how we train and I think he's enjoyed it. There is a long term development plan for him which will be similar to Dominik (Naglik) in a way.
"He comes here with a lot to learn but he has a lot of good raw talent and this is something we are looking to progress over time with him."
Ryan is available to sponsor, with home or away kit sponsorship costing £200, whilst boot sponsorship is priced at £100. For full details visit the PLAYER SPONSORSHIP page on the club website.
