Following three victories results on the road, it's back to home comforts for City as we play host to Lossiemouth in the Highland League tomorrow afternoon.
City will go into the game brimming with confidence having netted 11 times without reply in the last 3 matches.
Joe Russell's Lossie side travel to the Glebe with just 1 win from their last 8 fixtures, having lost 2-0 to Brora Rangers in midweek.
TEAM NEWS
After missing the last two matches, City will welcome midfielder Murray Mackintosh back into the squad. Luc Bollan will continue to be sidelined with a dislocated shoulder, but otherwise Andy Kirk will have a full compliment to choose from.
MANAGERS COMMENTS
Reflecting on a successful week with City picking up two 5-0 victories, Manager Andy Kirk said,
"It was a fantastic result at Formartine last Saturday and we were excellent on Wednesday night - first half especially where it was as good as we've played this season.
"Full credit to the players in the second half - after three tough away games they started to tire a little bit but they kept trying to do the right things. We could have maybe had another one or two goals but overall I was delighted with the players - over the last few weeks I've seen a big difference in the squad.
"There is a lot of confidence there and most of our chances are going into the net or hitting the target which is a big difference from the early stages of the season. It takes a bit of time for a squad to gel together and build relationships and I'm hopeful we've now reached the stage where can keep the consistency in our game week to week."
Winger Marc Scott continued his fine form with a goal of the season contender on Wednesday night with Kirk adding,
"Marc is on fire at the minute and we know that he is capable of that. When he first hit it, it looked as if it might go over but it's taken a big dip - what a finish it was. I'm delighted with his performance levels and he works hard for the team."
Andy is keen for his side to continue the momentum against Lossiemouth tomorrow, he said,
"It's important that we keep winning games but there are other teams out there that are doing the same. The league is quite tight between the top 5 sides - we can only take care of ourselves and we've taken the last couple of opportunities to close the gap.
