Max Kucheriavyi Signs on Loan
The Club is delighted to confirm the signing of Ukrainian Max Kucheriavyi on a season-long loan from Premiership side St Johnstone.
The highly rated midfielder has been training with Saints since September and has impressed the Management and coaching staff at McDiarmid Park, culminating in the youngster signing a professional 3-year contract.
Max has represented Ukraine at youth level and is tipped to have a bright future in the game. Permission has been granted by his parent club to play in the Premier Sports Cup and he will come straight into contention for Saturday's match against Cowdenbeath at Central Park.
Manager Andy Kirk commented, "Max is a technically gifted player - I had a spell working with him at Hearts when he was a bit younger. He is very creative and flexible in terms of position - he can play anywhere across the middle and the front line. We're excited to get another player of a high calibre at the club."
The signing takes the City squad up to sixteen, with Manager Andy Kirk keen to add another couple of players before the Highland League campaign kicks off a week on Saturday.
Kirk added, "In the short term we've probably got at least another two to come in and hopefully we can get that done in the next week or so - then we'll be in good shape for the league season starting."
