City have bolstered their defensive options with the loan signing of Harris O'Connor from Rangers FC until the end of the season.

The central defender, who has represented Scotland at youth level, was part of a Rangers B team which got the better of City in a closed doors friendly back in November.

Harris previously played for Kilmarnock and Charlton Athletic before signing professional terms at Ibrox in 2018 aged just 15.

Alongside fellow Gers youngster Chris McKee who also signed on loan for City last week, O'Connor will be looking to gain valuable first team experience at Glebe Park.

City Manager Michael Paton commented, "Harris is another player who impressed us in a closed door friendly. He is a young, composed defender who reads the game very well and is willing to put his head in where it hurts. It's another great addition to the squad and we are delighted he is now on board.
