With the loan transfer deadline tonight, Manager Mark Wilson has moved to sign midfielder Luke Strachan on loan from Dundee until the end of the season.

The 18 year-old goes straight into the squad for this afternoons league match against Stirling Albion at Glebe Park.

Luke was previously on the books at Peterborough United and signed for Dundee's development side in the summer and although he is yet to make a competitive appearance for the Dark Blues, he has been in and around the first team squad.

Manager Mark Wilson said, "We're looking forward to Luke coming in and further contributing to the improvement in our squad. We've seen Luke play on a number of occasions and his recent excellent displays have been rewarded with him being involved in Dundee's first team squad.

"We hope Luke can continue his impressive development with Brechin City and in turn help us in our fight in the coming crucial weeks of the season."
