PREVIOUS MEETINGS
Quite bizarrely, this is the third season in succession that the two sides have been paired together in the Betfred Cup group stage. City defeated the Binos 2-1 at Glebe Park in 2016/17 thanks to a late Alan Trouten winner however there was disappointment for Darren Dod's men last season as City went down 2-0 at Forthbank, with both goals coming from the penalty spot.
