Campbell's Rallying Call - By Keith Johnston

Brechin City manager, Dick Campbell, has called on the club's supporters to get "right behind the boys" in Saturday's local derby with Forfar Athletic.

Campbell stated: "Forfar will obviously start as favourites. They have just beaten the favourites for Division 2 with something to spare in what was a thoroughly deserved result for them on Saturday.

"John Ritchie has watched them twice in the last two weeks and he has provided me with some great information. But I have to say both John's reports have underlined one fact that there is real quality in this Forfar side and anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves on.

"We must concentrate on doing our own jobs however. We had an off day on Saturday. But we know the quality that exists here throughout the squad and I know we couldn't have wished for a better game to bounce back in than a local derby.

"We took a great support to Station Park on our last visit and I would be delighted to think we could do exactly that again. This is when the gloves really come off and the big ball comes out and I will do everything possible to ensure our players are well up for this one.

"But I shouldn't need to motivate our players. All they really have to do is take a look at our sub's bench and the stand. That should be motivation enough."
