Brechin City went down to their fifth successive defeat with East Fife winning by 1-0 at Glebe Park.

The only goal of the game came after ten minutes when Scott Robinson collected a pass from Jordan Austin at the edge of the box and drilled a low drive beyond Graeme Smith.

City came more into the game aft the break and applied a lot of pressure on the visitors goal after they were reduced to ten men in thr 77th minute when goal scorer Robinson was dismissed for a second bookable offence but they could find no way past a resolute Fifers rearguard and they themselves went down to ten men deep into injury-time when Elliot Ford was sent off after a challenge on Fifers substitute Kevin O'Hara.
