Brechin City lost away from home for the second Saturday in succession, going down by 3-2 against Stenhousemuir at Ochilview.

It was a disappointing result and performance from City who started the game extremely well. They deservedly grabbed the lead after 14 minutes when Paul McLean headed home an Alan Trouten corner and were well worth their 1-0 lead at the break.

However, they conceded two sloppy goals shorty into the second-half (John Gemmell and Sean Dicskon on the mark for Stenny) and it looked to be all over when Gemmell headed home his side's third goal mid-way through the half. Although Andy Jackson pulled a goal back with eleven minutes remaining, it was too little too late and City were left to rue the defensive errors which lead to their defeat.
