Brechin City 4 Forfar Athletic 1

Match Report - By John Hoey

Brechin City came up trumps in the Angus derby, defeating near neighbours Forfar Athletic by 4-1 in a hard-fought and entertaining match.

The win moves City up to third place in the Second Division table and provides them with a real confidence-booster ahead of next week's Scottish Cup tie against St Mirren.

Andy Jackson with a double, Jonathan Brown and Kurtis Byrne (pen) were all on the mark for City while Ross Campbell scored Forfar's only goal.
