Brechin City 1 Stirling Albion 1

Match Report - By John Hoey

Ten-man Stirling Albion held out for a draw with Brechin City that means Allan Moore's men secured the Division Two title on goal difference from Alloa.

The league leaders gained the early advantage as Michael Mullen scored with a left-footed curler from 18 yards.

Charlie King scored with a delightful free-kick after 25 minutes.

Stirling's Brian Allison was sent off two minutes after the break, after which both sides created few chances as Brechin secured a play-off spot.

The Glebe Park side could have been overtaken had Peterhead beaten Stenhousemuir and Stirling had won, but Peterhead could only draw.
