Alloa fought off a second half comeback by Brechin to finish the season with a well-deserved victory.

Greg Spence put Alloa ahead after three minutes when he coolly rounded goalkeeper Craig Nelson to slot home.

The 16-year-old made it two by shooting under Nelson, before Stephen Ettien scored for Brechin from 18 yards.

Chris Townsley's own-goal on 72 minutes tied the score, but Andy Scott headed a late winner for Alloa with only five minutes left on the clock.

With one eye on this weeks play off fixtures Manager Jim Duffy was forced to make changes after Charlie King called off with injury, on a plus point Kevin Byers and John Ward returned to the side with Byers completing the full 90 minutes.
