City recorded their third win on the trot with a narrow victory at home to Cowdenbeath today. Paddy Connolly slammed in the only goal of the game after 72 minutes. The visitors were reduced to 9 men in the last minute when Armstrong was sent off for a professional foul and Hill was dismissed also.

Brechin will now play Airdrie United in the play-off semi final. The first leg will take place at Glebe Park on Wednesday (2nd May) and the second leg will take place at the Excelsior Stadium the following Saturday (5th May).
