Brechin City FC are delighted to announce the signing of experienced attacking midfielder Scott Fraser on a deal until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old Dundee-born playmaker arrives at the Carnegie Fuels Stadium at Glebe Park bringing a wealth of experience from both sides of the border, having built an impressive professional career in Scotland and England.
Known for his creativity, passing range and eye for goal from midfield, Fraser adds significant quality and experience to the squad as the Club looks ahead to the remainder of the campaign.
Fraser came through the youth academy at Dundee United, going on to make over 100 first-team appearances for the Tangerines and establishing himself as one of the club’s key attacking midfielders.

A move south followed, where he enjoyed spells with Burton Albion, MK Dons, Ipswich Town and Charlton Athletic, making nearly 200 appearances in England’s League One.
Since returning to Scotland, Fraser has represented Hearts, Dundee and most recently Ross County. He is also a familiar face around Glebe Park, having worked closely with the Club this season as coach of the Brechin City Under-20 development side.
Scott will combine his leadership on the park with his continued development of our young players, strengthening the pathway from the development side to the first team.
At the conclusion of the season, Scott will assess his next move. With strong interest from Clubs in England and across Europe, Scott will take time to assess his options.
Everyone at Brechin City are pleased to welcome Scott to the playing squad and look forward to seeing his quality and experience contribute both on and off the pitch for the remainder of the season.
