City are back in Premier Sports Cup action again tomorrow evening as we welcome Livingston to the Carnegie Fuels Stadium at Glebe Park for our second Group E encounter.
After a difficult opening-day defeat away to Partick Thistle, Andy Kirk’s side will be determined to produce an improved performance in front of the home support.
However, another stern test awaits City as they take on a Livingston side that were relegated from the Premiership last season and will be among the favourites to challenge for an immediate return to the top flight.
TEAM NEWS
City will definitely be without the services of Spencer Moreland who unfortunately suffered an injury in our opening fixture against Partick Thistle, with tests being undertaken to establish the extent of the injury. Adam Hutchinson will also be a doubt.

CITY CLUB BAR
The City Club bar at the ground will be open to all supporters from 6:30pm but won’t be open following the match.

Tomorrow’s match referee is Alastair Grieve, assisted by Elliott Husband Powton and Kenny Brown.
LAST TIME OUT
City kicked off their Premier Sports Campaign with a 6-0 defeat against Partick Thistle at Firhill on Saturday. Gary Mackay Steven (2), Oisin Smyth, Aidan Fitzpatrick, Seb Drozd and Euan Henderson were all on target as the Maryhill outfit proved too strong for City on the day.
Tomorrow night will be Livingston’s first fixture of the group as they sat idle on Saturday. The Lions finished off their pre-season with a 2-1 victory over Hearts in what served as Scott Pittman’s testimonial.

The sides met in this very competition almost 3 years ago to the day. The visitors took the lead with less than a minute on the clock thanks to debutant Tom Parkes and that’s the way it stayed until just after the hour mark when Ayo Obileye doubled the advantage. The Lions made it 3 in stoppage time through Jackson Longridge who converted a cross from Alan Forrest.
