Brechin City FC are pleased to announce the signing of striker Finlay Simpson following his release from Dundee United.
The 18-year-old joins City after progressing through the Academy at Dundee United and last season gained valuable senior experience during a loan spell with East of Scotland Premier Division side Jeanfield Swifts.
Finlay will be a familiar face to City supporters having trained with Andy Kirk’s squad throughout pre-season and featured as a trialist in both our pre-season fixtures and Premier Sports Cup campaign.
Manager Andy Kirk commented, “Finlay is another young player with plenty of potential who has shown a great attitude since coming in. He’s worked hard and has settled into the group really well.
“He’s at an important stage in his development and we believe Brechin City is the right environment for him to continue improving. We’re looking forward to working with him and helping him fulfil his potential.”
