Brechin City FC are delighted to announce the loan signing of Callum Hannah from Championship side Raith Rovers, with the 20-year-old joining the club until the end of the season.
Hannah is a left-sided defender who offers real versatility, capable of operating anywhere along the left flank. Known for his pace, strength and athleticism, he has been recognised as the quickest player in the Raith Rovers squad.
Manager Andy Kirk knows Callum well, having worked with him during his time at Raith Rovers and is fully aware of the qualities he brings to the group as City look to strengthen their options for the remainder of the campaign.
Callum signed his first professional contract with Raith Rovers in August 2023, having joined the Starks Park club from local side Kirkcaldy & Dysart FC. He has also represented Scottish Schools at youth international level.
Despite his young age, Hannah has already gained valuable experience through loan spells with Albion Rovers, Montrose, Clyde, and latterly Dundonald Bluebell. Highly rated at Raith Rovers, he further committed his future to the Championship club by signing a one-year contract extension last summer.
Manager Andy Kirk commented, “Callum is a player I know from my time at Raith Rovers. He is a hard working lad with a great attitude and will add more quality and pace to the team.
“Callum is left footed and can play in a few different positions. We look forwarding to helping him develop during his time with us.”
