Profile
Manager Mark Wilson made his first new signing of the 2020 close season with the addition of striker Rory Currie following his release from Heart of Midlothian
The 22 year-old spent much of his youth career on both sides of the Glasgow divide having signed for Rangers as a nine year-old before making the switch to Celtic three years later.
He would make the move to Edinburgh aged 18, signing for Hearts where he would go on to make 13 first team appearances. However, his progress was stalled by a serious knee ligament injury at the tail end of 2017.
Subsequently, Currie spent time on loan at East Fife and Forfar Athletic and most recently he has been plying his trade for Linfield in Northern Ireland, with the pandemic cutting his stay short.
Manager Mark Wilson commented, "Rory has come from a good academy at Hearts and has plenty of first team football behind him having been on loan a couple of times. He is someone with real pace and a top finisher. We hope he can be the one to lead the line for us this season and I'm excited about the prospect of working with him."
