Venue Switch for Highland League Cup tie

Tomorrow’s scheduled R Davidson Highland League Cup 2nd round tie against Nairn County FC will now be played at Balmoral Stadium, home of Cove Rangers with a 3:45pm kick off.

This decision has not been taken lightly. However, due to the current backlog of fixtures and the condition of the pitch at the Carnegie Fuels Stadium at Glebe Park, it is becoming clear the surface will be unplayable tomorrow.

With that in mind, and to avoid further disruption to an already congested schedule, we have agreed with Nairn County’s cooperation to move the match to Balmoral Stadium.

Admission prices will be as previously arranged – £12 for adults, £8 concessions (65 & over, students and 16/17 year olds) and £5 for U16’s. Please note season tickets are not valid for this fixture. Digital tickets should be purchased at the following link – PURCHASE TICKETS

The Club have arranged for a bus to take supporters up to the game which will leave Glebe Park at 2:30pm, with spaces priced at £5 each. The spaces are first come, first served and should be booked by texting 07825 616239.

We fully appreciate that the short notice may mean some of our loyal supporters are unable to attend and we genuinely apologise for the inconvenience.

We are confident, though, that you will understand our position – we simply cannot risk further postponements and a return to playing three times a week.

Please share as widely as possible and thank you, as always, for your continued support and understanding.
