Brechin City FC is delighted to confirm that midfielder Spencer Moreland has signed a new two-year contract extension as the squad continues to take shape ahead of the new season.
Spencer has established himself as an important member of the City squad and enjoyed another impressive campaign last season. His consistent performances were rewarded at the Club’s end-of-season awards where he was named Young Player of the Season.
The 22 year-old also recently reached a personal milestone at the tail end of the season, surpassing 100 appearances for the Club.
Manager Andy Kirk was delighted to secure Spencer’s future and believes he will continue to play a key role.
Andy said, “Spencer was a consistent performer for me when I came back in January and I’m delighted he has agreed to continue his journey with Brechin City.
“Along with his technical qualities, Spencer is versatile and can play a number of positions in midfield and always brings a real enthusiasm and energy to the team.”
