Brechin City FC is delighted to confirm the return of Lewis Martin and Kieran Inglis, who rejoin the Club from Forfar Athletic for an undisclosed fee.
Both players are familiar faces at Glebe Park and were hugely popular with the City support during their previous spells in red. Their return represents a significant boost to the squad as the Club targets a strong push for the Highland League title.
Midfielder Kieran Inglis was a key figure during his time at Glebe Park, spending four seasons with City between 2019 and 2023. He made an impressive 127 appearances, scoring 31 goals and played an important role in the Club’s Highland League title-winning season in 2022/23. At the time of his departure at the end of that campaign, Inglis had been City’s current longest-serving player.
Defender Lewis Martin was an ever-present and model of consistency during the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons. In his first campaign with the Club, his outstanding performances were recognised as he was named Player of the Year, while also sharing the Players’ Player of the Year award with Euan Spark.
Manager Andy Kirk commented, “I’m delighted to bring both Lewis and Kieran back to the Club. I know them well having worked with them in my first spell here. I know what they are capable of – they are versatile and were well respected members of the squad when they were here. They are good lads to have amongst the group in the changing room.
“Lewis and Kieran don’t only have experience of playing at a higher level but also in the Highland League and they know what the Club is all about. I think that connection is really important as well. When we had the opportunity to bring them back to the Club then we had to make that happen and thanks to the Board we’ve been able to facilitate this and get it over the line.”
