Matthew Knox signed for the club after leaving Premiership side Livingston in the summer. The teenager became Livingston's youngest ever player - making his first team debut just four days after his 16th birthday and his first start for the club in April 2016 saw him set up the winner in a 1-0 victory over Rangers.

His performances soon caught the eye of a number of big clubs and he would go on to have trials with Manchester United, Sunderland and Rangers - but a move failed to materialise.

Loan moves to East Fife and Berwick Rangers allowed the youngster to gain valuable experience during his time with Livingston.
