Gareth began his senior career with St Johnstone with loan spells at Brechin, Montrose and Ballymena following before his release from McDiarmid Park at the beginning of 2016. A short spell with Angus neighbours Forfar Athletic followed before he signed for City at the beginning of this season after impressing in pre-season fixtures.
