City face the second part of their double header against Dumbarton at Glebe Park tomorrow looking to avenge for their narrow 1-0 defeat against the Sons at the YOUR Radio 103FM Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Darren Dods’ men are still without a win in the Championship and with games starting to run out, they will see tomorrows game against the only other part time side in the league as the most realistic chance of getting that elusive victory. Dumbarton have struggled for form of late and prior to the narrow win over City midweek, they had failed to score this calendar year.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS
The previous three matches between the sides this season have been close affairs but unfortunately for City, they have all gone in favour of the Sons.

City travelled to Dumbarton back in September and made the perfect start after just 86 seconds when Jordan Sinclair beat the keeper with a cross-cum-shot at the near post. The visitors were looking comfortable up until the dismissal of Aron Lynas with 20 minutes remaining which turned the game on its head. Goals in the last eight minutes from Mark Stewart and Dimitris Froxylias earned all 3 points for the home side.

At the reverse fixture at Glebe Park in November, there was to be more misery for City as an own goal from Willie Dyer in stoppage time handed the Sons a crucial win in a match that looked to be heading for a stalemate.

The aforementioned match between the sides midweek saw Dimitris Froxylias net the only goal of the game as City were cast further adrift at the foot of the Championship.

TEAM NEWS
Manager Darren Dods doesn't have his troubles to seek after the confirmation that on-loan defender Kostadin Gadzhalov has been ruled out for the season after dislocating his shoulder against the Sons on Tuesday. He joins Ryan McGeever, Paul McLean, Jordan Sinclair and Andy Jackson on the injury list whilst Aron Lynas serves the last match of his 3 game suspension. On a positive note, Willie Dyer comes back into contention after missing the game midweek through suspension.

The news coming from the Dumbarton camp is that ex-City favourite Iain Russell will miss out through injury whilst Liam Dick picked up a knock midweek and will be assessed prior to the game. Tom Walsh, Chris McLaughlin and Grant Gallacher also miss out for the Sons through injury.

MATCH OFFICIALS
The match will be officiated by Alan Muir, assisted by Anthony Cooper and Ross Anderson. Quite remarkably, this is the first time that Muir has taken charge of a City game this season.
