Brechin City v Falkirk: Match Preview - By Grant Hood

City welcome Paul Hartley’s Falkirk to Glebe Park in the second of a double header with Darren Dods side losing out 3-1 at The Falkirk Stadium last time out.

SQUAD NEWS
In addition to long term injury victim Ryan McGeever, Darren Dods has both captain Paul McLean and striker Andy Jackson already ruled out through injury. With everyone else looking to stake a claim for a place in the starting line-up, the match may well see home debuts at some point for loanee signings Callumn Morrison from Hearts and Livingston’s Dylan Mackin.

MATCH OFFICIALS
The man in the middle will be Greg Aitken, assisted by Kylie Cockburn and Jonathan Bell. Aitken takes charge of a City game for only the second time this season, having been the man-in-the-middle during the 2-1 defeat at East End Park against Dunfermline Athletic just before Christmas. .

HOSPITALITY
The City Club, situated in the David H Will Stand will be open free of charge to both sets of supporters (over 18’s only) prior to the game from 1pm and will re-open again after the match until 8pm. The club will be showing Watford v Everton, live on BT Sports after the game.

The match-day magazine “A View from the Hedge” will be on sale prior to the game priced at £2, as well as 50/50 tickets and whisky raffle.
