Ally Love leaves Brechin City to join Clyde

Brechin City FC can confirm that midfielder Ally Love has left The Club and has joined League Two side Clyde.
Ally joined City from Albion Rovers in May 2016 and, during his season and a half with us made 54 appearances scoring 10 goals. Perhaps most memorably, he scored twice in the bizarre midweek late kick-off match against Airdrieonians back in March as well as a goal-of-the-season contender against Stranraer in December 2016. He also held his nerve to score in both of the penalty-shoot outs in last season’s Championship Play-Offs against Raith Rovers and Alloa Athletic.
Ally has found a starting place increasingly hard to come by this season and The Club, also being mindful of him bearing a considerable travel burden, has agreed to release him – leaving him free to join Clyde. He leaves Brechin City with our thanks and genuine best wishes.
