The games simply don’t get any easier for City at the moment as they make a difficult trip to face St Mirren at the Paisley 2021 Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

The Buddies have made a positive start to the season under Jack Ross and currently sit 2nd in the table, just a point behind league leaders Dunfermline Athletic. The home side will go into the game off the back of a convincing 3-1 win against Queen of the South last Sunday. Highly promising winger Lewis Morgan netted a brace in that match to continue his fine start to the season which has culminated in a call up to the Scottish U21 squad on Wednesday.

City meanwhile are still looking to get their first win in the Championship, and Darren Dods will be under no illusions that his players will have to be on top form to get a result from the game. City may have lost 3-0 to table topping Dunfermline last weekend, but the side did enough to suggest that they can cause problems for any side in the division.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS
You have to go back almost five years for the last meeting between the sides where St Mirren ran out 2-0 winners in a Scottish Cup 4th Round tie in Paisley in December 2012. On target for the Saints that day were Kenny McLean (now at Aberdeen) and Jon Robertson who is currently at Alloa. You have to go back well over a decade for the last league meeting between the sides, with St Mirren running out comfortable 3-0 winners at Glebe Park in March 2006 – John Sutton was the Saints hero that night with a superb hat trick for the eventual league winners.

TEAM NEWS
Striker Andy Jackson remains sidelined through injury whilst full back Aron Lynas serves the last game of his 2 match suspension after being sent off against Dumbarton a fortnight ago. Chris O'Neil is rated as 50/50 after picking up a foot injury last week whilst Elliot Ford has been loaned out to junior side Kelty Hearts until December.

ADMISSION DETAILS
Admission prices for the game are £20 for adults, £10 for Over 65’s, Unemployed (must have proof of unemployed status) or under 18’s and £5 for under 12’s. City supporters will be housed in the North Stand.

All supporters are advised that local Paisley band Lemonhaze – themselves Saints fans – will be performing in the south-east corner of the stadium prior to the match. Fans are invited to come down from 2pm to join in the fun. This event is free and will be filmed as they show support for Paisley’s 2021 UK City of Culture bid.
