Alloa Athletic v Brechin City Match Preview - By John Hoey

Alloa Athletic - Brechin City Match Preview.

Brechin City will make the relatively short journey across the country tomorrow to the Indodrill Stadium to face Alloa Athletic in what is undoubtedly one of the most important and vital games in the Club's history.

Promotion to the Scottish Championship is the prize for the winners and City will of course enter the match in the driving seat following their 1-0 victory against the Wasps on Wednesday evening.

The players work ethos and commitment was again firmly in evidence on Wednesday night and there's absolutely no doubt that the same attributes will be required tomorrow night if they are to emerge victorious at the end of the ninety minutes.

Manager Darren Dods seems likely to name an unchanged line-up from the team that started the last two matches against Raith Rovers and Alloa Athletic and the few extra days from Wednesday will hopefully allow both Alan Trouten and Ally Love further recuperation time as they seek to achieve full match fitness. Dougie Hill remains on the doubtful list while long-term injury victims Euan Smith, Darren McCormack and Gareth Rodger are all sidelined.

Brechin City supporters will fill the two supporters coaches which will depart from St. Ninian's Square at 1.00pm with many more no doubt making the journey by car. For those spectators unable to travel tomorrow a reminder the match will be screened live on BBC Alba.

The referee will be Nick Walsh who will be handling his first match of the season for both sides.

Admission Prices at the Indodrill Stadium are :-

Adults - £16
Over 65's - £8
Under 16's - £4

There will be no Parent & Child or Student Discount Gate.

Brechin City supporters should enter the ground at the turnstiles at the KFC Fast Food outlet at the Railway End of the stadium.
