Raith Rovers - Brechin City Match Preview

Brechin City will make the short trip to Kirkcaldy tomorrow to face Raith Rovers in the second leg of the Scottish Championship play-off semi-final and there's no doubt that the players will be encouraged by their performance in the first match at Glebe Park on Wednesday night.

The effort and commitment of all involved that evening can only be described as phenomenal and the players have given themselves a fighting chance of reaching the final. Having said, that, Rovers also showed on Tuesday night, particularly during the second-half just how good a team they are so it looks as if the supporters of both persuasions are in for a treat if both sides can replicate Wednesday night's exertions.

As far as team news is concerned, manager Darren Dods is hopeful of welcoming back Ally Love into the starting line-up with the manager indicating his chances as good while Dougie Hill who missed Wednesday night's clash because of a leg injury is rated at 50-50. Darren McCormack, Gareth Rodger and Alan Trouten all miss out.

The Brechin City Supporters Club will be running a bus to tomorrow's match and William (07925227826) is the man to contact if you wish to book a seat.

Raith Rovers have slashed admission prices for tomorrow's match and in view of this there will be no concessionary entry.

Prices at Starks Park are :-

Adults - £5
Parent & Child - £7
Parent & Two Children - £9

Brechin City supporters have been allocated the North (McDermid) Stand. Entry will be by ticket only and tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Hub immediately outside the turnstiles.
