Stenhousemuir - Brechin City Match Preview

Brechin City will travel to Stenhousemuir tomorrow hoping to get back to winning ways following their 1-0 home defeat from new League One leaders Alloa Athletic last Saturday.

Manager Darren Dods will have the same squad available to face the Warriors with Chris O'Neil who has been missing for the last few weeks hopeful of being able to return to competitive action next weekend.

Stenny presently sit in bottom place in the League One table but they will no doubt be very determined to put last week's 5-0 defeat from Stranraer firmly behind them and set about taking three points from tomorrow's match.

The sides have met once before this season when City came out on top in a 2-1 victory at Glebe Park in the opening match of the present league campaign. Alan Trouten had fired City in front in the 34th minute but the visitors fought back after the break with defender Fraser Kerr slotting home the equaliser eleven minutes into the second half and it then looked as if the match was heading for a draw until City substitute Ross Caldwell blasted home the winner with just ten minutes left on the clock.
